  2. I personally dislike that crossbow able to shot fast as bow especially it’s a medieval fantasy. As long as their crossbow design is not following something like how modern days crossbow with arrow magazine that able to rapid fire arrows out from magazine, I will suggest that if still want to add crossbow in Ashes they can make crossbow a sniper ranged weapon. I once suggest in official forum that they can add Japanese bow (yumi) as sniper class in ranged weapons, I think crossbow and Japanese bow can be 2 different type/taste of sniper class ranged weapons to make Ashes better.

  3. I think they should add crossbows some time down the line as a 1-hand ranged weapon that tanks can use paired with a shield. A ranged tank. You could have a 'mage-tank' but… Maybe some folks don't want to be a magical tank.

  4. I think their reluctance to have crossbow skins might mean these will be included in an expansion DLC when they have time to work out the mechanics and animations. That might be the copium talking as I would like to see crossbows and even the potion launchers.

  6. Something we need to be aware of is that people who have a grudge against Intrepid Studio will escalate and make this issue a lot larger than it needs to be. Yes it is a issue, and I was in a chock as well. But not end of the world.

Feels like all the Ls that Intrepid is taking is because of lack of communication and people that escalates things

  8. intrepid is the type of studio to have an ''idea guy'' and still create bullshit ideas, mechanics and concepts.
There's a reason if all studios don't have dedicated ''idea guys''

  9. Wouldnt it be simply best for Ashes dev team to just say that it could be a post launch content drop? We certainly are better with less but more polished game right now but down the line why we wouldnt be able to get a new weapon type as in a crossbow? Win win situation in my oppinion. Devs have content they can do post launch and players can get what they want to use for their skins and a new weapon type is always nice to shake the meta.
