how does combat still look so awful
Didn't catch it live but the replay on twitch already has the new gameplay footage? Or was that just a reupload with the revised gameplay?
They redid it, it's a lot better. They shouldn't rush these things.
Glad I waited for the redo before I left my feedback. My main is going to be tank/mage and I was so furious yesterday.

in my opinion someone who is a more professional player should take control of the main character in their streams. with all due respect to steven, his gameplay seems to make the game look a bit basic and slow. the gameplay should be presented as flawless, somewhat fast, smooth and powerful.
Looking more and more like an Action Combat game…which is sad. Tab Target is, and always will be, the preferred combat of MMO's. Strategic, cooperative game play based around groups is what an MMO should be and NOT button smashing. This is looking more and more like button smashing.
I feel like for alpha the combat is fine most of what people are complaining about are animation tweaks and not core mechanics. This is going to be done during Aloha 2.
