It’s one thing to criticize something because you want that thing or product to become better, but it’s another thing to simply hate on something because it may be doing better than you initially projected.

Ashes of Creation is getting the hate that is does now because a lot of people are skeptical, which is understandable. I do think that this can and will change over time as more and more of the upcoming MMORPG will be shown. We have the tank development update this month which is going to be VERY telling. I think a lot of people need to see some more of the races & classes fleshed out (as well as the augments) because again, it is very ambitious. 2023 could make or break Ashes of Creation.

What is something you'd want to change about Ashes of Creation?
Excuse you but its KINGDOMS of Elyria, good sir. >:(
They hate Ashes, because they are afraid Ashes will make their current game obsolete.
People fear change.
I don't know what I would change. I tend to look at development so much as a work in progress that it's often hard for me to form an opinion on things.
A lot of people get up in arms so quickly over something they haven't even experienced first hand. It comes from a good place, I think. People want the game to be good. But there's definitely people out there that all forming camps for a bunch of games that aren't even playable. Stepping back a bit, it's ridiculous to hate on Pantheon or Riot's MMO when neither on has a product yet.
