Ashes of Creation | Why the PVP Stigma?
Ashes of Creation I think is often unfairly compared to MMOs that are not at all similar and to MMOs that were very poorly made. I make the case for why there is a stigma against PVP MMOs, and whether Ashes can be the MMO that ends that Stigma.

Did I miss any other reasons for the PVP Stigma?
I worry about PVP centric gear being a disqualifying factor for people that want to PVP without getting nuked. I don't know if AoC will streamline its gear or make distinct gear for PVP and PVE. That's a stigma some older gamers might remember
Corruption appears very punishing. Hope it is still worth it in certain circumstances keeping in mind the ability to work it off through gameplay.
"Okay I am willing to risk attacking this player for possible loot with the knowledge I will be in increased danger until I am able to work the corruption off through pve or structured pvp."
