With the final Livestream of 2022 concluded, it’s time to reflect back on the game’s development throughout the last year and look towards the near future. In today’s video, we’re breaking down the almost 2 hour livestream into a crisp 10 minutes.

10 minutes and 1 second long. I couldn’t have planned that even if I tried (most certainly didn’t stall with literal thin air so i could put more ads onto the video)
I hope everyone has enjoyed the progress AoC has made throughout 2022 and I’m really looking forward to what 2023 brings.

  2. Lead VFX Artist said that "The most anticipated class in the game will be necromancer as his favourite class". Then when Alpha 2 will be happen really? There is a bard class, tank class and even a necromancer class they want to show us; but still no time given even for the next 3-4 months period in 2023 as I understand from the video I watched yesterday.

  4. I felt like the end of year stream was a bit of a cop-out. It was nice to hear from people who are actually building the game but overall boring imo. I'm probably a bit jaded since I've followed the dev for 5 years and just expected something more by this point.

  5. best moment of the stream was when in the beginning they made a montage of all the content creators and Narc hasn't been mentioned. Chat went crazy , asking where Narc is and than they showed the full montage in the end and we got our beloved "grab yourself a……….". Priceless. I can't imagine how Narc must have felt through all of this πŸ˜€

  6. As someone who streams a bit now, the audio design is pretty important to me in how I play now. I like to make sure that I keep the games music and ambience at the forefront of my gameplay instead of me and whatever hot takes I would otherwise speak into existence if I wasn't keeping the game the central focus. The ambience makes the nostalgia in a big way for me, and I like to think it does for other people too.

  7. Hey Narc. Something i wish AoC would add is climbing atop monsters. Something like Dragons Dogma if you ever played it. A feature like that really adds to the game as your characters weight and height effected the opponent. It could effect a flying foe who cant take off if you are huge, or a cyclopse has a huge issue knocking off somebody small aiming to melee the eye for example.

  8. Narc got 2 seconds at the very end and was cut off before he could even finish saying his famous statement. Asmongold got more love… I lost all respect for the devs. Narc is their biggest supporter. Great way to say thank you…
