  1. My favorite part was the Alpha 2 Release date, did you miss it? 13:50 in the Ashes of Creation Alpha Two Night & Day and Other Heavenly Things video. Connect the Dots or use astrology, you will figure it out eventually.

  2. Doesn’t combat kinda look like generic trash? Maybe worse even? Just a cluttered mess of ganking a bunch of no hp trash mobs. Graphics/animations really don’t do it for me either, something about it just looks horribly off

  3. Was waiting for your take!

Man, it was awesome! I was literally screaming to myself in excitement when it started with the group gameplay. And I knew you‘d probably be sitting on the other side of the world, also watching, but even more excited than me.

They just continually show their ability to create something not only awesome but really innovative. Which is exactly what this genre needs.

Also love the art style of Ashes. So gritty and real. I can‘t really immerse myself in otherwise great games like Guild Wars 2 when they go with that jolly, eastern style.

LET US IN! LET US IIIIN!!!

  4. Cool and all but it still bothers me the scale of the humans in comparison to the environment props. They are at least 30cm too short. The coffin is for 3 person at least. The decoration on the gates are to high up, it feels like you are a smurf and not that the gates are large structures. Same goes for other showcases. The vegetation coming up almost always to the shoulders, the logs of the docs larger then two people. No one else have notice that? I think it is very bothersome and easily fixable

  5. AoC's livestream gameplay demo was shit this time and the development is far too slow for classes and gameplay fundamentals which makes me very concerned for the competitive and PvP aspects.

  6. Narc the info you say at around 7:00 regarding old mmos, DAoC ( Dark Age of Camelot ) had this. Possible the best MMO pvp or as it was called realm vs realm ( RvR ). I might sound biased but that old Mmo defo know what its strenght was. Nice video otherwise, always lovely to get info in narc style.

  7. That Goblin slavers thing will only be fun at the first time, having to escape them every time you die, considering they would be hard to deal with, will be boring, because other games let you start from where you died or from the city, having to wander around a place you do not want, do not have loot or anything who is progression, will be a complete waste of time, making players hate this.

  8. There's a RTS/RPG sandbox game called Kenshi, being enslaved in that game is one of the most frustrating but also interesting and fun experiences I had in a game, escaping naked, getting your equipment back and leaving, or if you are strong enough, getting good loot and revenge, and maybe liberating the rest of the slaves, I know ashes can't give that experience mainly because it's an MMO and MMOs are very scared of taking away any player agency at all, but I still hope it's close enough to it.

  9. They need to add a healbot system for healing. Party nameplates need to be compact and they need to be able to be moved so you don't have to hover your mouse a mile to reach nameplates….

  10. Finally more gameplay! That's what I'm talking about. Also man, you are great at being a youtuber. Idk if anyone has told you that before. The fact that even if there is like 1 min of "actual" content, you are able to expand it into a 10 min video that is interesting, funny and engaging is a work of art and a talent. You are upfront about it too which just adds to the awesomeness. Keep it up man. Regardless of the game you choose to cover I'll be a forever subscriber.
