Ashes of Creation, the upcoming MMORPG from Intrepid Studios will have a castle siege system that will blow away rival systems from MMOs like ESO and GW2.
Great video, I will say though that I really disliked the dragon bosses in Alpha One. I didn't think it provided much to gameplay, as well as that it didn't make much sense to me, made the siege feel like a moba. I don't want to be fighting a mini-boss for buffs during the siege, I want the siege to be focused around intricate strategies for breaking down walls and penetrating fortifications.
My question is: during the siege, the game will select X amount of people from each side to give them the little tasks or the bosses as a quest, or how it will work? If everybody see the tasks then it will be a mess when too much people go there and other places got weaker etc. I mean if it is entirely up to the clan, imagine 500 people in one discord room…disaster.

Sieges sound awesome. I loved watching them and can't wait to try them out myself.
Oh no, I've been a loser all my life. Thanks a lot Xillin!
Sounds great, but sometimes It feels like a tease that I wont get to experience for quite a while.
Every game that's done castle sieges has failed by making it too easy. Even DAoC, which is considered the very best in this area, had this same issue.
Lineage 2 in it's prime! Gonna be hard to top that one! Steven played it, he knows😉😂
The general game play of participating in a node or castle siege really stays true to Intrepid's philosophy of meaningful combat.
Love that coach, your dad's a loser🤣🤣🤣
