  1. I would like to see many different celebrations. A few world wide events like Christmas or New Years celebration along with nodal celebrations and possibly racial celebrations celebrating their God or Past Events. I just think more options than just questing and gathering would be a good changenof pace from time to time.

  2. Personally wanna see AoC dig deep into the ground about how each culture celebrates certain holidays and stick to that as a baseline moving forward so players have more reason to explore each different racial node to see how they differ.
Maybe the Ren'kai have a tradition of spending 7 days preparing ornate gifts before the big Christmas day where there's feasting, gift giving, honoring, partying, praying, and ceremonial sparring for another 7 days going into New Years. Players who participate in this Ren'kai way of Christmas will have 7 days of crafting and gathering where they can create and turn in seasonal event items, crafting food, armor, weapons, mounts, toys, boats, w/e. The next 7 days are for getting Valhala levels of drunk, praying at local temples/shrines, gifting, and if possible a way to spar with someone somewhere that won't result in death or penalties.
This would change drastically for the Py'rai as maybe you have to help decorate their big trees with crystals, participate in communal events, attend a special cultural dance, and by New Years maybe you plant a new tree somewhere, thus making the following spring and summer regrow the harvestables faster than any other race during this time.

  3. What I really hate is when these developers make holiday themed events, and have a cool set of rewards for doing them, and then just re-release the same event with the same quests and saw rewards year after year after year. It really doesn't reward longtime player who played all those events and got all those rewards already. At the very least, add new rewards each year. Even better would be changing up the quests or the way the event works each year to keep it fresh. Other than that, making it so that each race has different events and different rewards tracks sounds very interesting.
