Loot Distribution Systems and Chats take. Ashes of Creation – Also…CROCS

Hey everyone,
In this Twitch stream we talked about several different loot distribution systems and what our preferences are as well as some talk around how loot should drop. We pulled on our experience from WoW Classic and tied it into Ashes of Creation.
Towards the end chat completely derailed this discussion and we talked a lot about Crocs… You have to see for yourself.

  1. I think a master looter type of loot style is the only way to go. Allows for much more control on distribution of loot and if you are in a good guild, everyone is working for one goal. Progression. I would love if retail wow still had that system because then you could throw as much gear at your dps as you can as long as the tank can survive and tps isn’t a problem. Also as long as hps thresholds have been met. As a tank in retail wow I would toss most of the gear that I get to dps if I could. Reason being dps speeds up kill times and makes healing requirements less due to mana pool being less of an issue and damage intake is less due to fight length. Hopefully they are mindful with there loot rules because in the end, it is an MMO and you are allowed to choose who you play with. Just play with like minded individuals that are working toward a common goal and loot will never be an issue as long as there is some way to control where the loot is distributed. Just my two cents on the topic. Great video btw and hope to see more

Edit: TLDR- everyone in my guild understands that if bosses die, loot is inevitable. So once the bosses are on farm everyone will eventually get every piece they want anyways. Simple concept if your group understands and agrees with the process
