New Reveal for Ashes of Creation is promising! Asmongold watches “Ashes of Creation February 2022 Livestream Update” by Narc, a short breakdown of the latest news for the upcoming MMORPG Ashes of Creation. Creative Director of the upcoming MMORPG Steven Sharif and the community marketing lead Margaret Krohn sit down to reveal an update for Ashes of Creation. This is Ashes of Creation February Update that shows new designs, new concepts and character art, and covers all of the community’s concerns so far.
Ashes is a MMORPG which takes place within a medieval fantasy setting, blending imagination with cutting-edge graphics. Ashes of Creation will incorporate the best parts of traditional MMORPGs with innovative sandbox concepts. The first trailer of the game was released in 2019 and it is planned to be playable, at least in an alpha/beta format in 2022.

I watched the devs meeting live too. The Exec Prod, Bryan, worked for Blizz like 12 yrs. I've got a beta key and know it's gonna be awhile. I agree, that things like raising a pet or mount shouldn't be mandatory. But I'm more than ready to explore these worlds and characters.

Archeage without P2W is the ultimate MMORPG in existence, imagine adding raids to it.

the "bernard star wait calculation" almost plays into development for games now. start work to soon and the technology down the line later, will Lap around the old tech 5 times over.
I have more faith in this MMO then most on the market since they are able to take player feedback and are not restricted to a publisher who will just try to push a game out to make money ASAP.

When I look at AoC, all I see are systems and no soul. They NEED to stylize and tell a story here. I don't like what I've seen, and think it will be dead on arrival if they can't catch magic in a bottle.

I have pretty high hopes for this game seeing how most games nowadays are letdowns one way or another, whether it's art style (personally I dislike more realistic graphics as they usually age very poorly and feel generic and boring to look at) or gameplay. I feel like their concept are is really good and you can see it has it's own style and flare to it, but a lot of their 3d models are really generic and way to realistic for my liking. Obviously most of these problems are bound to happen as the game development progresses, so I'm staying hopeful they won't go with a way too realistic art style. This is a game that truly has potential, so I hope they continue to keep us updated constantly, so the fanbase never gets bored with it.

Ashes is turning into Mounts of Creation. All they ever talk about is fucking mounts. Where is the damn contact? How about get combat working in a great state, before worrying about mounts. Fact is, if combat isnt on Lost Ark or BDO, level then I dont think the game can succeed.
I feel like they've been putting in too much time and effort into graphics and details before the gameplay is finished. Look at new world.
