  1. Frands, thank you for giving us your feedback. It helps us immensely! 🙏

Asmon, it’s never too late to pursue game design!!! You’ve got some good insights 😉

As always we will continue to update everyone monthly on our development! ❤️💪

  2. This looks awesome but what studio is behind them??? That will most likely determine how long the game will last. I hope it’s a big one with big backing or we’re just in for another new world

  3. Unreal 5 at work. Star Citizen has this type of feature too, but "seasons" are not activated yet. Just light, storms, clouds and physics of rotation around the star.

  4. I really hope they put fantasy over class balance and just make everything crazy. I've always felt that mmo's are always more fun/immersive when the devs don't care about balance. Sure people bitch and complain about it but it's still more fun/immersive because it's harder to get everything down to a science. You have to figure out how to make your class work instead of just doing what icyveins tells you is optimal.

  5. It is extremely refreshing to see Asmongold remain genuinely open-minded, optimistic, and positive. Even though a large portion of the chat is obnoxiously negative.

  6. I always wanted blizzard to go harder with the weather effects. Would love to see the Arathi Blizzard effects put into zones like Northrend or the new Draognflight tundra zone. I still want real darker nights without the darkmoon faire potion.

  7. I just hope its not the same in the entire world. Hope the further north you go the more extreme the winters are and maybe they can even do aurora borealis & constant day/night depending on the season vs if you go to the middle (equator) its lush jungles where the seasons are limited to normal and wet seasons.

  8. I feel like dynamic weather and seasons are "nice to have" but not "must haves" for a great game. I feel like the devs priorities are wrong if they're "tackling" this first

  9. Im not worried about the combat one bit, if intrepid can pull seasons they can pull satisfying combat for sure, consindering other games tried to make seasons and failed (looking at you… h1z1)

  10. So much attention to detail. Like Asmon said, it all comes down to them nailing the combat. If they manage to stick that landing then this will be a truly amazing game.

  11. Dynamic weather and seasons.. I have a jaded boomer question.. how is this impressive? We had this back in Morrowind.. you could even see the constellations in the game and they changed if I recall correctly, granted it was not an mmo but it was 22 years ago… One would expect technology to improve more, I think maybe developments cycles move to fast and there is no much room for better improvements.. looks pretty tho

  12. The seasons changing was probably my absolute favorite aspect of the gen 5 pokemon games
Having entire parts of the map become accessible due to snow piles (and vice versa inaccessible without), or water freezing into ice, or certain pokemon only showing up in a single season or changing appearance with the season, man
Seeing it come to life in an mmo, at least to some degree, you have my attention devs

  13. The game looks promising but it is hard to hype up for mmo these days. I'll be waiting for this game to be released, I hope it won't take another 5 years. It's looks cool but it gives me the same vibes I had with NewWorld and Lost Arc.

  14. I hope its live up to the hype, i hate that some element is only for certain player to see, u know what i mean, i forgot what game, but sometimes that "dust devil" thing for some reason only i can see it, my friend dont see it, sames goes with the rain, at my screen the rain is pouring down but not at my friend's game. U know, that the particle and/or the 'event' is just for u to see or its not sync properly

  15. Even if all of it may not end up working, I am just happy to see the AOC team taking risks and trying to innovate on the genre. Whether it is with dynamic environmental systems like this, their multi-classing ability augmentation, or their node system, it is just wonderful to see a team doing something different.

  16. this game still feels fake to me lol idk why, my brain just tells me its all a scam and they are just trying to steal peoples money and there is no actual game being made.

  17. Graphics is nice, but gameplay is king.
If the seasons affect gameplay too much, it's gonna be a problem. Them saying that rain might reduce the size of a fire nova spell is horrifyingly bad game design for an MMORPG.
The main issue with MMORPGs these days is that they are designed like they were single player game experience rather than a game you play for thousands of hours.
