  1. Ask for darker night, thn complain it's too dark, like in some movies where you can't see shit. 🙂 I find this darkness tone to be just right.
    Fireball looks… meh really. To be honest, lightning looks the best out of all; but for that lightning -from-the-sky attack, I would remove the electricity "tentacles" from the ground, too many effects.

  2. Im in favor of darker nights because it gives more gameplay elements. Without a giant immersion breaking nameplate above people, having dark nights allows much better and more realistic ganking potential. Ill never understand the raise gamma level (damn near cheating when it gives night vision) people and those who essentially want night time to be a well lit evening. Night time is supposed to be dark unless you are in the heart of a city or its an extremely bright moon. While it doesnt have to be survival game levels of pitch black darkness they can add torch items for localized light for players and caravan or light spells/augments for the cleric

  4. as with every Alpha and Beta of any game, never treat it like the final product, there will be bugs and the purpose of Alpha and Beta Players is to find those bugs and present them to the developers so that they can fix them. It reminds me of the Alpha channels in the AoC Discord, they were there to voice the crashes, bugs and videos of issues players were encountering.

  5. A darker night wouldn't make sense with all the light from all the astral bodies they have in the skybox. It makes sense that it'd be a noticeable brighter night especially with the larger main moon and the second erupting moon. This game isn't on earth, so a different night is expected, and I think with that in mind, the level of darkness is just right.

  6. I just had a scary question and i dont know the answer: with our alpha 2 packs we got like 12 months gametime – will this game time be used for alpha 2?
