There hasn’t been a lot of MMORPG’s releasing recently, one would say the MMORPG genre is a dying one. A lot of people are desperate for a good MMORPG to release and we are just waiting and waiting, for games like Blue Protocol or Ashes of Creation. Hopefully these games will live up to the hype and actually be a good fun MMO to play if or when it is released.
PSO2:NG was one of the most anticipated MMORPG to have been released in 2021 and it was kind of slightly disappointing? There seems to be about no content in the game and a lot of the time you would just end up Fate Grinding as they would call it in FF14. You just round around killing mobs waiting for a PSE Burst to happen for loot.
Pros:
– it got released, one of the most anticipated MMORPG got released.
– The game looks good.
– The character Creation is actually not bad, it’s not revolutionary but it’s good.
– Combat is nice a smooth just like PSO2
– Enemy Mobs are really nice looking I enjoy punching em.
– Maps nice and somewhat big.
Cons:
– There is about as much content as there are MMORPG’s that released in 2021.
– If you don’t play the original PSO2 you would be missing out in a bit as the game advertises as you can play both PSO2 and NG with the same character.
– It feels like they just re-released the CBT version and called it a day.
– It got released, one of the most anticipated MMORPG got released.
I mean it’s alright, the only real reason to play this game is really just so that I have an MMORPG to play while waiting for the most anticipated MMORPG Ashes of Creation. I probably have said most anticipated so much in this description. Hopefully it lives up to the hype. PSO2: NG doesn’t feel like it met with the Hype as the game almost immediately lost player base on the 2nd day.
